Each week, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra brings you a new performance in their weekly Homegrown series. You can hear music played by and conversations with Maestro Kevin Rhodes, SSO musicians, youth musicians and others. In a recent favorite, Kevin played “I'll Be Around” by Alec Wilder, first recorded by Cab Calloway and His Orchestra.

Carey Larsen
Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
