The UMass Fine Arts Center celebrates American jazz multi-instrumentalist, composer and artist Yusef Lateef. A multi-faceted online project honors the centenary of his birth with an exhibit of his visual art, a photo gallery, dramatic readings of his fiction, film excerpts, and more. The celebration kicks off Friday, Oct. 9, with a free live virtual concert.

Carey Larsen
Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
