Bruce Stebbins

Multimedia Account Executive

Bruce came to NEPR (now NEPM) in April of 2014. As a marketing consultant, he works with local businesses to market themselves on New England Public Media through underwriting sponsorships.

Prior to joining NEPM, Bruce was a senior account executive with Clear Channel Media in Springfield from 2006 to 2014, and with Saga Communications in Northampton in 2005.

Bruce was the founder of WRNX radio at 100.9FM in Amherst/Springfield in 1990, and served as co-owner, program director, on-air talent and sales manager until 2004. He also helped oversee the transition of WTTT-AM 1430 in Amherst to WPNI, which became the first commercial radio station to broadcast public programming through a partnership with WFCR, and a precursor to the current NEPM News Network. Bruce also spent 14 years in Montpelier, Vermont as on-air-talent and program director for Green Mountain Broadcasting.

A graduate of American International College, Bruce got his start in radio on the campus radio station at 91.9FM, WAIC, now an NEPM News Network station, and also served as air talent on WHVY-FM in Springfield in 1972, and WAAF-FM, Worcester in 1973-74.
