Statues Also Die

Visit Real Art Ways, the alternative multidisciplinary arts organization in Hartford, on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m. to experience a reception and concert in conjunction with “Statues Also Die,” a new exhibit that considers the roles artists play in monument removal and making. Afro-indigenous jazz musician Lee Mixashawn Rozie will perform his sonic monument to life in Hartford, Quannatuckwa aka ct, a new score that mixes the roots of jazz with the traditions of indigenous music.

Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
