Listen to “American Anthem”

In his Inaugural Speech, President Joe Biden made reference to and quoted lyrics from one of his favorite patriotic songs, “American Anthem.” PBS fans may remember that this was the theme song for Ken Burns’ 2007 documentary “The War.” Revisit the song, as performed for the series by Norah Jones.

Carey Larsen
Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
