Jorgensen Digital Stage Presents Kronos Quartet: 50 for the Future

Thursday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m.

For over 45 years, San Francisco’s Kronos Quartet has pursued a singular artistic vision, combining a spirit of fearless exploration with a commitment to continually reimagine the string quartet experience. Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts is a co-commissioning partner for “50 for the Future: The Kronos Learning Repertoire,” with a mission to create a free library of fifty new works designed to train emerging string quartet musicians. The Kronos Quartet will present a selection of pieces from the collection, followed by a dialogue with the Quartet and Jorgensen Director Rodney Rock.
