‘This Is Us: Regional Portraiture Today’

Phase 2 Now on View at the Springfield Museums

Inspired by the special exhibition The Outwin: American Portraiture Today, "This Is Us" showcases local portraiture and highlights the rich artistic talent of our region. Drawn from a relatively small geographic area, the works on view – produced in a range of media including painting, printmaking, drawing and sculpture – represent diverse methods and viewpoints. Created within the last two years, many submissions respond to current events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and calls for social justice.

Carey Larsen
Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
