NEA Big Read: Pocumtuck Valley Event

PVMA Memorial Hall Museum, Deerfield
Tuesdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Take a trip to Deerfield for a PVMA 150th Anniversary exhibit, highlighting 15 objects located throughout the museum, preserved by the organization’s founders. The exhibit is part of The NEA Big Read: Pocumtuck Valley, which brings together over 40 local organizations (including NEPM) to explore Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. Like the objects in the Museum of Civilization in Mandel’s novel, each one tells a different story. And each story asks us to think not only about the values of the past, but also about the present.
