Field Notes: Local Food Stories Presented by CISA

For the past four years, Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA) has hosted a performance event where local farmers share their personal stories and experiences on a stage in front of a live audience. This year’s show features six amazing storytellers from around the region sharing their adventures (and misadventures) in farming, cooking, navigating new cultures and relationships, building community, and more. Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
