Millpond Live was created to “bring people together, from all walks of life, to share a journey of wonder, discovery, and delight.” Last year’s festival was virtual. This year, there will be two nights of live music, under the stars at Easthampton’s Millpond Park plus the option to stream the event online. Friday’s lineup includes the Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra, the Alex Asher Quartet, and French-Caribbean singer-bassist Adeline. On Saturday it’s electro-Latin funk soloist Sophia Rei, Afro-Pop Mozambican Jazz artist Albino Mbie, and Red Baraat — a Brooklyn-based band that merges North Indian bhangra with elements of hip-hop, jazz and punk. You can bring a picnic or enjoy delicious offerings from local food trucks, and handcrafted beverages from nearby breweries.
