Tertulia's guest artist Mark Guglielmo creates large collages using thousands of photographs he took during three trips to Cuba from 2015-2017. This project chronicles the dynamic people of Cuba and their rich culture full of heart and soul. 

The Northampton-based artist will exhibit "Cuba in Transition, Narrative and Perspective" at A.P.E. Gallery, 126 Main St., Northampton from June 1-25. Opening Reception: Friday, June 9, 5-9 p.m. during Arts Night Out with Special Guest DJ Bongohead.

Raquel was born in Lima, Peru. She graduated from the University of San Marcos, where she studied Mathematics, and subsequently became a high school math teacher. She began working at New England Public Media in 2004, as the co-host of Tertulia. In 2010 Raquel took over as full-time host of the program.
