Tom Reney conducted this interview with Max Roach in 1979 in Worcester, MA. Max was in the city to play a sold-out solo concert that Tom produced for WCUW Community Radio. It proved to be the first solo concert of his career. His interview with Max was published in a Worcester journal, but the audio tapes were discovered only recently.
