Come relax and enjoy a variety of films for all ages at Northampton’s KidsBestFest. From April 18th to April 21st, Northampton Open Media and A2Z Science and Learning Store are presenting Four feature-length films, along with some local short animated films. KidsBestFest is a movie festival for kids and adults with free admission held during the spring school break at the Academy of Music Theatre. A long-standing part of the Four Sundays series, KidsBestFest looks to celebrate the medium of film with people of all ages. We kick off the free movie festival on Monday, April 18, at 11:00 AM with Disneynature Penguins, a nature documentary following the life of an Adélie penguin named Steve in the Antarctic. On April 19th, the show will start with two local short animated films before a screening of Marona’s Fantastic Tale, a French animated film about the journey of a small dog named Marona. April 20th will be showing the original 1984 The Karate Kid, a classic tale of a lovable underdog. Finally, KidsBestFest 2022 will conclude with the Northampton Youth Film Fest.
