Knife, Paper, Scissors papercuts and collages by Greta Kessler, Scott McDaniel and Alex Kessler

Knife, Paper, Scissors is an exhibition of papercuts and collages by Northampton residents Greta Kessler, Scott McDaniel and Alex Kessler. Greta Kessler is an artist and craftsperson in many media. She has worked in printmaking, fiber arts, basketry, jewelry making, origami, collage and papercutting. Greta was employed in the 1940’s and 1950’s as a jewelry designer in Providence after studying at the Rhode Island School of Design. She has taught crafts to all ages throughout New England. Scott McDaniel has been designing and restoring architectural stained glass for more than forty five years. Windows he designed may be seen in churches and institutions throughout the Northeast. Scott has been a member of Zea Mays Printmaking since 2010. Alex Kessler learned papercutting at his Mother’s side. After studying art at The Cooper Union he has worked as a printmaker, photo editor and event planner.
