Springfield Armory National Historic Site 50th Birthday Party

Springfield Armory National Historic Site 50th Birthday Party
Springfield Armory is celebrating its 50th birthday as a National Historic Site! Join us at the Armory on Saturday, August 16, from 10 AM to 4 PM for a family-friendly day of live music, crafts, food, activities, and a slice of birthday cake!
Join us in celebrating the Armory’s past 50 years serving the local community, educating visitors young and old, and preserving a valuable piece of history.
This event is family-friendly, free, and open to the public! During the day, park rangers will offer tours and share the history of Springfield Armory, including the new Victory Garden! Outside, enjoy live music from the Marlborough Street Band and Carol Devine & the Mighty Fine Band. Local organizations and community members will be on-site, including the Forest Park Zoo and Springfield City Libraries.
This event is hosted and organized by the Friends of Springfield Armory.
