Come join friends and family to celebrate the life, loves and lyricism of Christopher Haynes, the incomparable accompanist, bandmate and composer who passed away this spring. The performers helping to honor his memory will be the bands and groups Chris played with, including the Young at Heart Chorus, The Threesies, Norma Dream, the Johnny Memphis Band, Pete Nelson, and more, all of whom remember how Chris’s keyboard and, more importantly, his accordion, made everybody he played with sound better. This concert will be a fitting tribute to Chris, who was a gentle soul, a good friend and a dear man who made Northampton and the Pioneer Valley a better place to live.
