Artistic Feast - Serena Granbery, Doane Perry and Gary Schieneman
Serena Granbery – works in clay and other media and with Ecology as her theme - finding inspiration in the natural forms she finds in the woodlands and oceans of her travels. Her artwork in this show evokes sea creatures and earthy mineral formations.
Doane Perry - started making photographs, in black and white, as a cultural anthropologist in the southern Peloponnesus Mani region of Greece in 1974. Later he switched to color focusing on the natural beauty and small communities of the Berkshires.
Gary Schieneman - began making art 50 years ago while living and working in Paris where he enjoyed depicting the rich variety of historical subjects. Over the years he has made work in pastels, oils, and watercolor, first focused on still life and later on local Berkshires scenes.
