NXT Feast & Film Series: The Taste of Things (2023)

NXT Feast & Film Series: The Taste of Things (2023)

Feast and Film, a new series from Next Stage, invites you to an evening of film with an optional dinner add-on. The dinners will be themed around the films, offering a unique opportunity for community engagement.

Our first film is The Taste of Things, starring Juliette Binoche. The three-course classic French dinner will be served at the new Putney Diner, which will craft a country French menu using ingredients sourced from local farms. The first course features a frisée salad with lardons and a poached egg, followed by a traditional country chicken stew with vegetables and rice as the main course. For dessert, we’ll indulge in French chocolate mousse. The cost for the dinner and film is $40 per person, exclusive of tip and alcohol. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Admission to the film only is $8.

Films will be introduced by Deborah Krasner, Putney’s own James Beard Award winner and author of seven books on food, design, and kitchens.

This series is supported in part by a grant from Vermont Humanities.
