Spring Thing! is a fun, interactive spin on the fall Open Studios in the Arts & Industry building. This year we will be organizing a scavenger hunt for the public to get to know our building and the people in it from a new vantage point. A few artists in the building have committed to creating a miniature art piece that they will hide for participants. There will be clues and instructions throughout the building for those interested in following the game. After completing the scavenger hunt, participants can enter a raffle to win one of the hidden pieces of artwork.

The entire scavenger hunt should take about an hour to complete and will expand out to a few local spots in Florence. We will also invite artists and businesses to open their doors as part of Open Studios, so people have the option to roam and peruse the art studios or engage in the hunt.

This event will take place alongside Da Bomb Record Fair at Bombyx during their ColliderFEST! weekend, followed by some musical performances and an after-party with Downright Productions. We hope that the combination of these events located on the same street-block in Florence, will provide a rich range of activities for the public to enjoy. Bring a date, a group of friends, or the entire family!
