Free Zoom webinar about the future of the Internet, led by Jeff Jarvis, Professor of Journalism Innovation at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. Jarvis postulates that the internet is not broken, just young in terms of mass media which began with the Gutenberg press in 1440. The Internet, says Jarvis, is currently built for voices to speak, but not listen. He suggests that society can use the Internet to relearn how to hold a conversation, to foster dialogue, and to make strangers less strange.
