This concert will be the culmination of a generation of work and labor of love to bring much of the unheard music of Johnny Anz to those who would listen.

His son and Pioneer Valley resident, John Anz, most recently completed two recording sessions in NYC in 2023 bringing some of today's rising stars in the jazz world to interpret and treat his dad's music from the '50s and '60s in new and fresh ways. The result is the CD "Someday, Somewhere..." and this concert will share this music with all who attend.

This top-flight band will feature leader and arranger Benny Benack III on trumpet and vocals, Miki Yamanaka on piano, Alex Claffy on bass, Joe Peri on drums, and very special guest Anaïs Reno will join on a number of tunes as well.
