This event is aimed at introducing the latest issue of the Massachusetts Review, one of the nation’s leading magazines. The mission of The View from Gaza is, in the words of its guest editor Michel Moushabeck, “to tell the story of Palestine and Palestinians in our own words” through a collection of poems, essays, short stories, and artworks by Palestinians in the Occupied Territories and the diaspora. The event will feature both recorded readings from contributors currently in Gaza and elsewhere in the diaspora, as well as in-person readings from our invited speakers, Susan Muaddi Darraj and Olivia Elias, to be followed by a discussion on Palestinian literature and resistance with the audience.
