Cutchins’ Superhero Run Returns — Now with a Fall Family Festival!
The October 26th event features a 10K, a 5K, a kids’ fun run, local food, music, and special guest Jarrett J. Krosoczka, the graphic novelist behind the Lunch Lady series.
Northampton, MA — October 26, 2025 — Grab your cape and running shoes! Cutchins Programs for Children & Families invites the community to join the Superhero Run & Family
Fall Festival on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 78 Pomeroy Terrace, Northampton, MA. Registration opens at 7:30 AM, followed by a 10K at 8:30 AM, 5K at 9:00 AM, and the Family Fall Festival kicking off at 11:00 AM — featuring a special talk and mini-workshops by New York Times bestselling author/illustrator Jarrett J. Krosoczka (Lunch Lady, Jedi Academy, Hey, Kiddo). The celebration wraps up with a free Kids’ Fun Run at 11:15 AM.
All proceeds support Cutchins’ compassionate, trauma-informed mental health programs that help children and families heal and thrive across Western Massachusetts.
Event Highlights
10K (8:30 AM) & 5K (9:00 AM) Runs – Timed events for runners of all levels.
Free Kids’ Fun Run (11:15 AM) – Every child gets to be a hero!
Family Fall Festival (11:00 AM–1:00 PM) – Crafts, games, pumpkin painting, photo booth, community tables, and more.
Local Burger & Carefree Cakery – Delicious local favorites for purchase.
Prizes & Awards – Best Costume, Top Fundraiser, and Most Spirited Team.
Fundraising with PledgeReg – Participants can create or join teams at Cutchins.org/events to raise funds for mental health care.

Funds raised directly support Cutchins’ trauma-informed mental health and family support programs, which include outpatient therapy, early childhood services, and holistic care that addresses the emotional and behavioral needs of local children and families.
