William Baczek Fine Arts, in Northampton, Massachusetts is pleased to announce the opening of two solo exhibitions which will run concurrently during the month of September. Charlie Hunter and Jeff Gola are two artists who focus on the American landscape, but in very different styles and mediums. Jeff Gola will be exhibiting a new body of work in egg tempera paintings and Charlie Hunter will be showing oil and acrylic paintings. The two exhibitions will be on display from Wednesday, September 3 through Saturday, October 18, 2025. The public is invited to an opening reception on Saturday, September 6 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Norman Rockwell Museum is honored to present a rare series of early twentieth century lighting advertisements by Norman Rockwell and fellow Golden Age illustrators Maxfield Parrish, N.C. Wyeth, Dean Cornwell, Stanley Arthurs, Worth Brehm, and Charles Chambers created for Edison Mazda Lamps, a division of the General Electric Company. These luminous, richly painted works were widely circulated in published advertisements through the 1920s and are on loan to the Museum for the first time through the generosity of GE Aerospace.

Take a guided walking tour of downtown Stockbridge and discover how the town and its inhabitants both inspired Norman Rockwell and appeared in some of his most iconic works of art. Explore the history of this 1734 village–including its Mohican origins.

Stops will include Norman Rockwell’s home on South Street, his first studio on Main Street, the Old Corner House (site of the original Norman Rockwell Museum), Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, the former site of Alice’s Restaurant, and more! 

These tours do not take place at the Museum. Tour groups will meet in front of The Old Corner House, 48 Main Street. Transportation to Main Street from the Museum is not provided. Event is rain or shine.

Meet in front of The Old Corner House, 48 Main Street; public on street parking, or designated spaces at Town Hall. Tour route is mostly flat, and on sidewalks.  

The West Stockbridge Jazz Series Presents:

Natalia Bernal and her quartet bring her Andean and other South American infused brand of jazz vocals and rhythms that will delight the audience once again. Bernal and her husband and guitarist, Jason Enos, are resident Berkshire artists, and have had a whirlwind schedule of international and local performances since they graced our stage last October. Passion and perfection define the quality and listening experience of their well-curated song list of original and traditional tunes.

Trad is the hilarious and poignant Irish play about a son, 100-year-old Thomas, and his even older Da, who set off on a quest to find the son that Thomas thinks he fathered 70 years ago. After all that time on earth, they want to know if the family line will survive. An award-winning comedy by Mark Doherty that keeps you laughing all the way to an unexpected finale.

Trad is being presented in the Barn.

Directed by Alison Weller, the production features Scenic and Lighting Design by James P. Byrne and Costume Design by Robin McLaughlin. Holly Erin McCarthy serves as the Production Stage Manager.

Macklin Devine’s (Archibald Avery) and Seton Brown’s (Prelude to a Kiss) return to the Cape Rep stage in the roles of a 100-year-old son, Thomas, and his even more geriatric father. Ian Hamilton (Sunday in the Park) rounds out the cast as Sal and Father Rice.

The Corvettes, The Premier National Doo Wop Show is dedicated to preserving and performing the greatest music ever made – the music of the 1950’s Doo Wop era. From New Hampshire to New Orleans and Virginia to Vegas, The Corvettes perform the great music of the Doo Wop era with a fresh new energy. Their incredibly entertaining show and comical stage antics have left many a happy audience screaming for more! In the tradition of legendary Doo Wop revivalists Sha Na Na, every Corvettes show is more than a concert – it’s an all out a Doo Wop Celebration!

Three brothers shoot the breeze under an old, wide tree. In this exploration of intergenerational bonds, we peek into the interior worlds—the great loves and bitter blues—of Black men in America. Hang Time is a deeply moving and subversive work by Pulitzer Prize Finalist Zora Howard starring Kamal Bolden, Brian D. Coats, and Bryce Foley.
