BYOM: Bring Your Own Mouthpiece
Hosted by Wind & Reed during Eastworks Open Studios
This November, Wind & Reed invites you to a special hands-on saxophone event during Eastworks Open Studios.
On Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2, from 10am to 5pm both days, saxophonists of all levels are welcome to bring their own mouthpiece(s) and play-test a rare collection of vintage saxophones from 1920 to 1980. Explore sopranos, altos, tenors, and baritones from iconic makers like Conn, Martin, Lyon & Healy, Yamaha, Buescher, and more.
This is your chance to experience the unique craftsmanship, tone, and playability of horns that defined generations of music. Whether you’re an experienced player, an aspiring student, or simply a lover of jazz history, BYOM offers a rare opportunity to discover the magic of vintage instruments up close.
Wind & Reed is proud to be part of Eastworks Open Studios, where over 50 artists and small businesses will open their doors for a weekend filled with art, music, and community.
