Monday Night Tango's 8 week Argentine tango series for absolute beginners runs Mondays, July 13 through August 31, at East Street Dance Center in Hadley.
Each night starts with a beginner class from 7 to 8 PM covering the walk, the embrace, musicality, floorcraft, and figures you'll actually use at a social dance.
Class is followed by a practica from 8 to 10 PM. That means guided practice and social dancing, where the night's material turns into real dancing.
No partner or experience needed. Coming solo is normal, and partners rotate.

The Kendall Square Farmers Market – led by BioMed Realty and Mass Farmers Markets – returns to Canal District in Kendall Square this summer and fall to bring a rich array of locally grown foods and handcrafted goods to the Cambridge community including fresh produce flowers quality meats and seafood specialty foods and beverages honey and more.
The Farmers Market series is sponsored by BioMed Realty and is managed by Mass Farmers Markets a non-profit organization that has been working to enhance farmers markets and support locally grown food for over forty years. This year our Gathering will be held at Mount Norris Scout Reservation. The event will be held August 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided to the public. Donations will be accepted.There will be singing, storytelling, drumming, and dancing along with other activities to be enjoyed by adults and children. For example, you may have the opportunity to learn how to pound ash and throw a tomahawk. You can watch a basketmaker or a flintmaker and ask questions. There will also be Abenaki vendors so you can go shopping! Please note that this is always an alcohol and drug-free event. The event will be held rain or shine due to the availability of an indoor facility.
