Classical Music on NEPM 88.5 This Month

Listen Weekdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturdays from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Sundays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

We asked Classical Music Host Walter Carroll for a sneak peek into what we’ll be enjoying this month. He replied, “Every February, the United States celebrates Black History Month and New England Public Media highlights Black composers and performers. On our classical music programs, you can expect to hear symphonies by Florence Price, William Grant Still and Adolphus Hailstork, and performers like Imani Winds, Eric Owens and Anthony McGill. Also in February, you will hear music depicting great love stories around the time of Valentine's Day, as well as patriotic music celebrating both Washington and Lincoln for Presidents Day.”
