Betsy Lantco

Betsy came to NEPM in June of 2018. As NEPM's sale's operations associate, she manages all contracts, traffic and inventory tracking for NEPM’s local business sponsors.

Betsy also fills in as an engineer for variety of shows on 88.5 NEPM, including running the soundboard on live programs such as Morning Edition and All Things Considered, or recording long-form interviews and podcasts.

Betsy also spends her time doing similar production work with Saga Communications in Northampton. You can hear her work as a producer of the UMass hockey sports broadcasts on WHMP, or operating the board for charity fundraisers on The River, WRSI.

A graduate of Holyoke Community College, Betsy got her start in radio at the campus radio station 103.5FM WCCH.

Prior to joining NEPM, Betsy began volunteer work with locally owned recording studio, Northfire Studios. They led her to the community radio station of western MA, 103.3 WXOJ, locally known as Valley Free Radio. Today, she serves as the chair of the VFR board and is heavily invested in the creation and promotion of local content and arts in the valley.
