Family Week at the Met

If family drama reaches operatic levels during the upcoming holiday, you can escape to the Met’s “Family Drama” collection. There’s a different opera available for free streaming every day, including Verdi’s Il Trovatore with Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Strauss’s Elektra, conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, Kiri Te Kanawa and Plácido Domingo in Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor starring Natalie Dessay, and other masterpieces.

Carey Larsen
Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
