Red Rose and Torched

The Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts (MIFA) in collaboration with Nueva Esperanza presents the return engagement of New York's Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theater (PRTT) in a double feature virtual stage reading of two plays. Original music by Desmar Guevara. TORCHED! written by Pregones/PRTT Artistic Director, Rosalba Rolón and THE RED ROSE original story “Little Things Are Big,” by activist Jesús Colón, adaptation by Rosalba Rolón. Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
