Join the Pioneer Valley Symphony to celebrate the life and legacy of Pulitzer-winning composer Lewis Spratlan, Professor Emeritus at Amherst College. This event comes at the 80th anniversary of Spratlan’s birth and the 10th anniversary of the world premiere of his oeuvre, 'Life is a Dream,' by The Santa Fe Opera. The program will feature a retrospective on Spratlan's works and career, which spanned opera, chamber, orchestra and choral compositions, interspersed with reflections from the composer himself who will be joining via Zoom.
