New Year Concert from Vienna

New Year’s day, you can waltz in 2021 with the annual New Year’s Day concert from Vienna performed by the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of Maestro Riccardo Muti. From the Golden Hall at the Musikverein, there will be waltzes, polkas and more from the Strauss family in this annual holiday tradition. Listen Friday, Jan. 1 at 11 a.m. on NEPM 88.5. Then, you can watch the TV broadcast from Great Performances with host Hugh Bonneville at 9 p.m. on NEPM TV.

Carey Larsen
Carey Larsen is a member of the Marketing, Events and Communications team. She is primarily responsible for creating and managing emails sent to members of the NEPM community. For WGBY, she was the development coordinator, pledge producer, volunteer coordinator and email marketing manager. Prior to that, she was the general manager of the Pioneer Valley Symphony. Carey is a professional musician. She serves as soprano soloist at the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow.
