Polar Bears, Black Boys & Prairie Fringed Orchids

Polar Bears Black Boys Prairie Fringed Orchids

Barrington Stage and Capital Rep Present
Local Virtual Reading Friday, June 19 and Monday, June 22 at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, Juneteenth, theatre communities around the country will provide their response to the civil uprising that has come as a reaction to the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless others before them with simultaneous free readings of Vincent Terrell Durham’s Polar Bears, Black Boys & Prairie Fringed Orchids. This bold new play offers keen insight, leavened with humor, to portray the meeting of a well-meaning white liberal couple and Black Lives Matter activists.
