Audio-Guided Theater by John Bechtold
Promenades is a series of audio-guided theater works by John Bechtold, designed to be experienced at various outdoor public spaces in the Pioneer Valley. For each Promenade, you download an app-based "walk,” put your headphones on, and walk through outdoor spaces, letting your imagination weave a relationship between the audio from your headphones and the beautiful environment around you. Promenade #1 is at the Larch Hill Conservation Area in Amherst and features the words of Robert Frost and Louise Glück.
