  • Corinne Boyer is the health reporter for the ReSource. Previously, she covered western Kansas for the Kansas News Service at High Plains Public Radio. She received two Kansas Association of Broadcasters awards for her reporting on immigrant communities. Before living on the High Plains, Corinne was a newspaper reporter in Oregon. She earned her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon and interned at KLCC, Eugene’s NPR member station. Corinne grew up near the South Carolina coast and is a graduate of the College of Charleston. She has lived in New York City and South Korea. Corinne loves running, checking out stacks of books and spending time with her rescue cat, Priya.
  • Benjamin Purper came to KCBX in May of 2021 from California’s Inland Empire, where he spent three years as a reporter and Morning Edition host at KVCR in San Bernardino. Dozens of his stories have aired on KQED’s California Report, and his work has broadcast on NPR's news magazines, as well. In addition to radio, Ben has worked as a newspaper reporter and freelance writer.
  • With 30 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Jill has held various roles. Most recently, she worked for Saga Communications, handling marketing and sales for WRSI/WHMP, Rock 102, and other radio stations. Prior to this, she served as an account executive at Connecticut stations WTIC and WTRC. Jill resides in Wethersfield, Connecticut, and finds pleasure in reading, walking, and playing word games.
  • A world-renowned bassist, composer, and educator, Avery Sharpe proudly hails from western Massachusetts, where his musical journey began. A UMass Amherst graduate, Sharpe was one of the Young Lions of jazz in the '80s, and has played with jazz luminaries such as Dizzy Gillespie, Wynton Marsalis, and Archie Shepp.
