  • With 30 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Jill has held various roles. Most recently, she worked for Saga Communications, handling marketing and sales for WRSI/WHMP, Rock 102, and other radio stations. Prior to this, she served as an account executive at Connecticut stations WTIC and WTRC. Jill resides in Wethersfield, Connecticut, and finds pleasure in reading, walking, and playing word games.
  • A world-renowned bassist, composer, and educator, Avery Sharpe proudly hails from western Massachusetts, where his musical journey began. A UMass Amherst graduate, Sharpe was one of the Young Lions of jazz in the '80s, and has played with jazz luminaries such as Dizzy Gillespie, Wynton Marsalis, and Archie Shepp.
  • Originally from the Midwest, John Nowacki has had an interest in classical music since he was a high school student, having discovered organ music recordings by E. Power Biggs and singing in the high school’s choirs. His radio career began in 1982 at WILL-FM in Champaign-Urbana, Ilinois, where he started as a board operator for local programming, then became a classical music host. He worked for several Illinois stations before making the move to WNPR in 1990.
  • Carrie Healy hosts the local broadcast of "Morning Edition" at NEPM. She also hosts the station’s weekly government and politics segment “Beacon Hill In 5” for broadcast radio and podcast syndication.
  • Karen Brown is a radio and print journalist who focuses on health care, mental health, children’s issues, and other topics about the human condition. She has been a full-time radio reporter for NEPM since 1998.
  • Adam joined NEPM as a freelance reporter and fill-in operations assistant during the summer of 2011. For more than 15 years, Adam has had a number stops throughout his broadcast career, including as a news reporter and anchor, sports host and play-by-play announcer as well as a producer and technician.
