Ed is a Maine native who spent his early childhood in Livermore Falls before moving to Farmington. He graduated from Mount Blue High School in 1970 before going to the University of Maine at Orono where he received his BA in speech in 1974 with a broadcast concentration. It was during that time that he first became involved with public broadcasting. He served as an intern for what was then called MPBN TV and also did volunteer work for MPBN Radio.

Peter Biello is the host of All Things Considered at New Hampshire Public Radio. He has served as a producer/announcer/host of Weekend Edition Saturday at Vermont Public Radio and as a reporter/host of Morning Edition at WHQR in Wilmington, North Carolina.

He comes to NHPR from the New Hampshire Union Leader, where he reported on state, local, and national politics.

Andrew Varnon teaches English at Greenfield Middle School in Greenfield, Massachusetts. He is also a high school tennis coach, a writer and an award-winning poet. He lives in Greenfield with his wife Lynette and two children.
