Books & Bikes with Christina Uss
Join the Easthampton Public Library for a Festival event featuring middle grade author Christina Uss, who will lead a "Books & Bikes" program. Uss will show kids how to fix a flat tire while sharing more about her books with bike adventures in them, The Adventures of a Girl Called Bicycle and A Few Bicycles More.
A book signing will follow the program, in partnership with High Five Books.
Author Christina Uss is a writer of books and a rider of bikes. She’s ridden her bicycle across the United States, once lengthwise and once widthwise. Even more than pedaling across state lines, Christina loves books that remind us all that the world is a wide, wonderful, weird place. She is the author of four middle grade adventures with guaranteed happy endings: The Adventures of a Girl Called Bicycle, A Few Bicycles More, The Colossus of Roads, and Erik Vs. Everything, which have received multiple starred reviews and appeared on numerous state lists. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her twins, cats, and chickens, and will always wave hello if she sees you out riding your bike.
