Robert Duncanson, Edward Bannister, Edmonia Lewis, and Henry Ossawa Tanner are notable Black artists following the Civil War. We’ll examine Black artists from The Harlem Renaissance in the 1920s, such as Archibald Motley, Aaron Douglas, and Augusta Savage.
