The day will be filled with exciting, energizing, inspiring workshops, performances, and presentations. The culminating session on Friday will feature a keynote talk from Malia Lazu, the director of the Urban Labs Project at the Massachusetts Institute of technology, and the author of From Intention to Impact: A Practical Guide to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Friday’s closing will also feature an interactive lecture from Boston Hip-Hop artist and UMass- Boston professor Akrobatik. He will perform and speak about Hip-Hop music and culture, and its vital necessity in curriculums at all levels of education.
