The Norman Rockwell Museum is honored to present a rare series of early twentieth century lighting advertisements by Norman Rockwell and fellow Golden Age illustrators Maxfield Parrish, N.C. Wyeth, Dean Cornwell, Stanley Arthurs, Worth Brehm, and Charles Chambers created for Edison Mazda Lamps, a division of the General Electric Company. These luminous, richly painted works were widely circulated in published advertisements through the 1920s and are on loan to the Museum for the first time through the generosity of GE Aerospace.
The Gilbert Players are back with Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical! Nuncrackers is the first TV special taped by the Little Sisters of Hoboken in their convent basement studio for Cable Access. It stars the nuns you love, plus Father Virgil and some of Mount Saint Helen’s most talented students. This show is filled with wacky Nunsense humor, some of your favorite carols, a “Secret Santa,” and an uproarious take on Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet. Certain to tickle your funny bone and likely to tug at your heartstrings, Nuncrackers is the perfect way to make your holiday season merry and bright!
