Cello and Chocolate...does it get any better? Each time we host this event, Jeremy and Dave surprise us with a new theme and new compositions.

Join us for a lovely multi-sensory experience that will feature the (mostly) soothing sounds of the Harman/Haughey Cello Duo paired with the delicious flavors of Ana Bandeira Chocolates of Northampton. Who better to curate both sounds and tastes other than the Valley's favorite cellist/chocolateer Dave Haughey? Dave is both the owner of Ana Bandeira Chocolates as well as a stellar multi-genre cellist who has performed internationally with the Paul Winter Consort and is joined by Jeremy Harman, Artistic Director of the New Directions Cello Festival and professor of cello at the Berklee College of Music.

This event is part soundbath and part concert. Please bring cushions, yoga mats, and blankets to make yourselves comfortable. Naturally, we will also have folding chairs for those who prefer not to sit on the floor.

Wyeth, Dean Cornwell, Stanley Arthurs, Worth Brehm, and Charles Chambers created for Edison Mazda Lamps, a division of the General Electric Company. These luminous, richly painted works were widely circulated in published advertisements through the 1920s and are on loan to the Museum for the first time through the generosity of GE Aerospace.

They’re a time machine, and their energy is infectious!

“With over 18 years in the LA music scene, Rudy has made his mark on the industry with gritty, powerful, yet undeniably beautiful vocals reminiscent of a young Steve Perry. Graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Vocal Performance, Rudy has taken his studies in the Rock, Classical, Jazz and Latin genres to create a sound all his own.

Best known as a season 6 American Idol finalist, Rudy has taken that experience and platform to share his talents nationally. For the last 5 years Rudy has toured with the UK sensation The Classic Rock Show, an all-star classic rock review who have played 33 yearly sold out shows across Europe. Rudy’s solo album “Fly” on record label Frontiers Music, is available now on all platforms.”
