Take a guided walking tour of downtown Stockbridge and discover how the town and its inhabitants both inspired Norman Rockwell and appeared in some of his most iconic works of art. Explore the history of this 1734 village–including its Mohican origins.
Stops will include Norman Rockwell’s home on South Street, his first studio on Main Street, the Old Corner House (site of the original Norman Rockwell Museum), Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, the former site of Alice’s Restaurant, and more!
Limited capacity- advance reservations required. Event is rain or shine.
Meet in front of The Old Corner House, 48 Main Street; public on street parking, or designated spaces at Town Hall. Tour route is mostly flat, and on sidewalks.

Transport yourself to a world of arms and armor at the Worcester Art Museum during a summertime celebration for all ages, with free admission and extended hours! Discover more than 1,000 pieces of arms and armor from across time and around the globe in the Museum’s Arms and Armor Galleries. Meet reenactors from across time, witness dramatic swordplay demonstrations, get hands-on with life-like replicas, and enjoy rousing performances by puppeteers, African drummers, cosplayers, and roaming musicians.
In the evening, from 4 to 7 pm, join the world-renowned Tree House Brewing Company for a pop-up beer garden in the Museum’s courtyard, with live music and summer fun for all ages.

The Northampton Scrabble Club prides itself on being a welcoming group where the priority is on FUN, not strict competition. Come in at any point in the evening and we'll get you in a game! Some players stay for one game, others for multiple games. We have a wide variety of skill levels represented, so come join the fun!
Monday Night Tango's 8 week Argentine tango series for absolute beginners runs Mondays, July 13 through August 31, at East Street Dance Center in Hadley.
Each night starts with a beginner class from 7 to 8 PM covering the walk, the embrace, musicality, floorcraft, and figures you'll actually use at a social dance.
Class is followed by a practica from 8 to 10 PM. That means guided practice and social dancing, where the night's material turns into real dancing.
No partner or experience needed. Coming solo is normal, and partners rotate.
