First up in our news roundup this week: a church in Amherst, Massachusetts, allowed a Guatemalan man facing deportation to live in the building for the foreseeable future. Church officials said they expect immigration officials to honor the sanctuary of the building.

With its first pieces of art slated to hit the auction block in less than a month, the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield cancelled a meeting with the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The state attorney general's office is looking into whether the sale, which includes two paintings by Norman Rockwell, is legal. And now there's a lawsuit

And a western Massachusetts business owner has found himself in hot water after attending an event last week at the White House. Dave Ratner, who owns seven Dave's Soda and Pet City stores, was standing behind President Donald Trump when he signed an executive order impacting the Affordable Care Act. Some customers have called for a boycott of Ratner's business.
