  • Art Silverman has been with NPR since 1978. He came to NPR after working for six years at a daily newspaper in Claremont, New Hampshire.
  • Raina Douris, an award-winning radio personality from Toronto, Ontario, comes to World Cafe from the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), where she was host and writer for the daily live, national morning program Mornings on CBC Music.   • Lara Pellegrinelli is a freelance journalist and scholar with bylines in The New York Times and the Village Voice. She has been the commissioned writer for Columbia University's Miller Theatre and its Composer Portrait series since 2018.
  • Vanessa comes to NEPM from the City of Springfield's Administration and Finance Division where she was a deputy project director. Prior to that, she worked with the Springfield Police Department, Baystate Health and Boston Public Schools. Vanessa holds a bachelor's degree from UMass Amherst, where she played on the women's soccer team. She is a Springfield resident who grew up in Amherst as an NPR and PBS super fan.
  • Beth is on the frontline of business-relationship building as Senior Account Executive at New England Public Media. Having been with NEPM, previously NEPR since 2013, she manages a portfolio of over 100 key accounts while also identifying and cultivating new enterprise-level opportunities through strong, relationship-based selling. Beth works closely with each business to reach their intended audience by delivering the best mix of NEPM’s multi-media platforms of NPR radio, digital, PBS television and local community events.
