Raina Douris, an award-winning radio personality from Toronto, Ontario, comes to World Cafe from the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), where she was host and writer for the daily live, national morning program Mornings on CBC Music. She was also involved with Canada's highest music honors: hosting the Polaris Music Prize Gala from 2017 to 2019, as well as serving on the jury for both that award and the Juno Awards. Douris has also served as guest host and interviewer for various CBC Music and CBC Radio programs, and red carpet host and interviewer for the Juno Awards and Canadian Country Music Association Awards, as well as a panelist for such renowned CBC programs as Metro Morning, q and CBC News.

Gabe Bullard is a senior editor at WAMU. Prior to joining the newsroom, he was the director of digital content for WAMU’s 1A, and a member of the team that helped launch the show.

Vanessa comes to NEPM from the City of Springfield's Administration and Finance Division where she was a deputy project director. Prior to that, she worked with the Springfield Police Department, Baystate Health and Boston Public Schools. Vanessa holds a bachelor's degree from UMass Amherst, where she played on the women's soccer team. She is a Springfield resident who grew up in Amherst as an NPR and PBS super fan.

Beth is on the frontline of business-relationship building as Senior Account Executive at New England Public Media. Having been with NEPM, previously NEPR since 2013, she manages a portfolio of over 100 key accounts while also identifying and cultivating new enterprise-level opportunities through strong, relationship-based selling. Beth works closely with each business to reach their intended audience by delivering the best mix of NEPM’s multi-media platforms of NPR radio, digital, PBS television and local community events.

Elizabeth Román runs the NEPM newsroom as the executive editor. She is working to expand the diversity of sources in our news coverage and is also exploring ways to create more Spanish-language news content.

Betsy came to NEPM in June of 2018. As NEPM's sale's operations associate, she manages all contracts, traffic and inventory tracking for NEPM’s local business sponsors.

Erin joined NEPM in 2020 as the marketing department’s social media manager, overseeing NEPM's social media feeds. Now, she works across NEPM to deliver quality digital experiences to our audiences. She is also the host of the NEPM Book Club. Originally from Michigan, Erin attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism and has worked as a web editor at a couple of local newspapers. She reads, runs, bakes and lives in western Massachusetts.
