John Lewis — Get in the Way follows the courageous journey of the civil rights hero, congressional leader, and human rights champion whose unwavering fight for justice spanned more than 50 years. This 2017 documentary will open with a new introduction by Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Watch Thursday, July 23 at 8 p.m. on NEPM.

PBS Short Film Festival
Celebrate independent film and filmmaking. The 2020 PBS Short Film Festival features 25 short films covering topics such as race, sexuality, activism, family, mental illness, music, and more. WAM Theater Virtual Exhibit
WAM Theatre is a professional theatre company based in Lenox MA that creates theatre for gender equity and has a vision of theatre as philanthropy. This summer, the WAM theater presents a virtual exhibit of pieces centered around the themes of suffrage and citizenship created by WAM ensemble members while in isolation across the region. The Berkshire Drive In
The Berkshire International Film Festival and Shakespeare and Company present the Berkshire Drive In. Located on the Shakespeare and Company campus in Lenox, 40 curated films will be shown Thursday through Sunday evenings, starting July 23, continuing through September 13. The first showing will be Academy Award-winning director Barbara Kopple’s new film, Desert One.
