An Evening of Contemporary Classical & Jazz-Inspired Melodies
Experience the evocative compositions of Bill Taylor, a composer whose music blends contemporary classical with jazz, show tunes, and the rhythms of nature and love. Join Bill on piano alongside:
Jaye Alison (Vocals), Terry Keevil (Oboe & Duduk), Gerold Mohn (Clarinet), Lesley Rosenthal (Electric Violin)
The evening features intimate duo, trio and quartet arrangements from Bill’s three albums, a selection of standards, solo highlights (including Terry's moving duduk piece), and a premiere poem by Lesley Rosenthal.• Time: Doors open at 4:30 PM. Includes a 15-minute intermission and a brief reception afterward

Looking for unique treasures, or just to get outside and enjoy a weekend of community fun? This is your chance!
This year’s event promises to feature over 100 households across Belchertown offering a wide variety of items from antiques and furniture to books, clothes, and unexpected gems.

In addition to yard sales across town, you’ll also find vendors set up at the Town Fields next to the Senior Center. That means more sellers, and more treasures... all in one convenient spot!

Proceeds will benefit the Clapp Memorial Library, strengthening a vital community resource that provides education, access, and connection for Belchertown residents.

The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Held annually on the first weekend in August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research. The PMC has 14 different route combinations, ranging from 25 to 177 miles, for riders to choose from.

Riders can choose from three locations:

- The College of The Holy Cross: 1 College St, Worcester, MA 01610
- Babson College: 231 Forest Street, Wellesley, MA 02457
- Massachusetts Maritime Academy: 101 Academy Dr, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532

Riders may ride on Saturday, Sunday, or both days. On Saturday, riders start in either Wellesley or Worcester and finish in Bourne. On Sunday, riders may start in Bourne or Wellesley; finish lines are in Provincetown and Wellesley.

Cost of event varies by route ($125 - $275).

Fundraising commitments vary by route ($2000 - $6000), due by October 1st

A Day of Cats, Crafts, Music, and Community Fun

Brimfield, MA — Looking for a fun summer outing? Feline Fun Day returns on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 11 AM to 4 PM at Brimfield Winery, and everyone is invited.
Hosted by Here Today Adopted Tomorrow (HTAT), a cage-free cat shelter based in Brimfield, Feline Fun Day is a celebration of cats and community with something for all ages.

What to expect:

🐱 Visit friendly shelter kittens (not available for adoption at the event)
🛍️ Local craft and artisan vendors
🎶 Live music throughout the day
🍷 Wine and beer in a relaxed outdoor setting
🎟️ Raffles with fun prizes
