The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Held annually on the first weekend in August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research. The PMC has 14 different route combinations, ranging from 25 to 177 miles, for riders to choose from.

Riders can choose from three locations:

- The College of The Holy Cross: 1 College St, Worcester, MA 01610
- Babson College: 231 Forest Street, Wellesley, MA 02457
- Massachusetts Maritime Academy: 101 Academy Dr, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532

Riders may ride on Saturday, Sunday, or both days. On Saturday, riders start in either Wellesley or Worcester and finish in Bourne. On Sunday, riders may start in Bourne or Wellesley; finish lines are in Provincetown and Wellesley.

Cost of event varies by route ($125 - $275).

The Friends of the Westfield Athenaeum is seeking donations of gently used adult and children’s books, DVDs, and jigsaw puzzles for their upcoming book sale. Donations will only be accepted by curbside drop-off at the back door of the First United Methodist Church, 16 Court St., Westfield, during the weeks of April 6-11 and April 13-18 as follows: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10-1; Tuesday and Thursday from 4-7, and Saturday from 9-12.
Please note that we cannot accept musty or damaged books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, Reader’s Digest books, or outdated manuals, travel books, or self-help books.
The book sale will be held at the Church on Thursday, April 23, 10-7; Friday, April 24, 10-5; and Saturday, April 25, 10-2. On Thursday only, we are offering a $5.00 discount for educators (bring your ID!) and new Friends members joining at the door.
The Friends of the Westfield Athenaeum is an all-volunteer 501(C)3 not-for-profit organization that supports the programs and services of the Westfield Athenaeum.

Enjoy an evening among the sunflowers at Coppal House Farm during this special 21+ event. Sample handcrafted wines and spirits from Flag Hill Distillery & Winery, enjoy live music from a musician, and purchase dinner from local food trucks. Rachel Loeffler brings the magical, otherworldly spirit of the boreal forests of Finland to Gallery A3, with paintings and three-dimensional interactive works celebrating the beauty of Norway spruces, Scots pines, and silver birches, along with abstract patterns based on the interplay of light, shadow, and leaves.

Join bluegrass musician David Clark Carroll and CitySpace for a fun, open bluegrass jam! Bring your instruments and your favorite tunes — from Bill Monroe to the Stanley Brothers and beyond. Held every first Saturday of the month during Art Walk Easthampton, this monthly jam brings the community together for music, connection, and good old-fashioned fun.

All are welcome. Free to join. All ages.

Enjoy midway fun for the whole family with rides for all ages from whimsical kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides, entertaining games and tasty carnival eats.

Admission and parking are free.

Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36" & taller) are $37 on site ($35 cash price) or online before 5 pm Wed., July 29 for $21.25 each or 4 for $76.75 (includes online ticketing fee).
