Since joining NEPM, Rebecca Egan has shown exceptional talent as a salesperson and strategist. As sales director, she oversees a team of four account executives. With more than 15 years of experience in media sales and advertising leadership, Egan previously managed digital advertising at Tribune Publishing within the Hartford Courant Media Group.

Mandi Garfield joined NEPM as an account executive in May 2024. With a media career beginning in 1997, Garfield's passion for the radio and TV industry remains unwavering.

John joins NEPM from WESA in Pittsburgh, where he served as the general manager for many years, overseeing crucial business units, including the newsroom. Prior to this role, he worked as a prominent consultant in public radio research, programming, and fundraising for two decades. His extensive experience also includes a decade at NPR, where he spent three years as the director of audience research.

Sergio Martínez-Beltrán is Nashville Public Radio’s political reporter. Prior to moving to Nashville, Sergio covered education for the Standard-Examiner newspaper in Ogden, Utah. He is a Puerto Rico native and his work has also appeared on NPR station WKAR, San Antonio Express-News, Inter News Service, GFR Media and WMIZ 1270 AM.

For more than 15 years, Simon Rentner has worked as a host, producer, broadcaster, web journalist, and music presenter in New York City. His career gives him the opportunity to cover a wide spectrum of topics including, history, culture, and, most importantly, his true passion of music from faraway places such as Europe, South America, and Africa.
